Privacy Policy

This is the personal portfolio of Robert Reynik, published at robertreynik.com. It is a static website — a set of plain HTML pages with no database, no user accounts, and no server-side code of my own. In practice that means I collect nothing about you.
The short version
No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. No advertising. Nothing about your visit is recorded by me, and nothing is ever sold or shared. The only personal information I ever hold is what you choose to put in an email to me.
What this site does not do
The site does not set cookies or use local storage to identify you. It does not run Google Analytics or any other analytics or measurement tool. It does not embed advertising, social media trackers, or session-recording scripts. There is no login, no newsletter signup, and no account of any kind.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Like essentially every web host, GitHub's servers automatically record technical details of requests — such as IP address, browser user agent, and the time of the request — for security and operational purposes. I have no access to these logs and cannot read them. GitHub's handling of that data is covered by the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Fonts
Typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When a page loads, your browser requests those font files directly from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser user agent as part of that request. This is the one third-party connection the site makes. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Getting in touch
The Email and Connect buttons on this site open a message in your own mail application, addressed to reynikg@gmail.com. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your own email client. If you do write to me, I receive whatever you chose to include — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. That mail is handled by Gmail, a Google service, and I keep it only as long as needed to correspond with you and keep a record of the work we discussed.
The message form on the contact page is not currently connected to anything. It cannot submit and does not transmit what you type into it.
Links to other sites
This site links out to profiles and resources elsewhere — LinkedIn, Instagram, GitHub, and pages referenced in articles. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy, not this one.
Children
This site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data someone holds about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because this site collects nothing, the only data I could hold about you is email correspondence you sent me. Write to reynikg@gmail.com and I will tell you what I have and delete it on request.
Changes
If the site changes in a way that affects this policy — if I add analytics or a working contact form, for example — I will update this page and the date at the top of it.
